# 2001 Crescent

Martin Klievard's 2001 Crescent. Jimmy (Martin's Dad) was
only too happy to let us take photos, ride, feel the amazing light
weight. Apart from the drilling and extra lightweight components
this bike will be available next year.

Unlike Monty 231 frames, the Crescent has a CNC yoke seat
stay bridge, far stiffer than the Monty design - no brake booster
is required.

Large diameter headtube with built in cups (normal fork I
believe). Same externally butted downtube design as the Monty.

Total bike weight felt like less than 18lbs. Titanium spokes,
Hope ultralight front hub and numerous drill holes help achieve
this. Hugi rear hub...
