I purchased these forks about 6 mths ago, the ones with the "braze on" magura mounts. baring in mind that the forks were not fitted for a month or so! they have had about 4 - 4 and half months use! (not particularly had use i must say) as i have full time job and family. to my horror following a small bunny hop over a puddle the forks snapped completely just above the magura mounts, seperating them into 3 parts and sending me spilling out into the road! (thankfully no cars were comming.) i work as a MTB mechanic and quickley realised that the forks failed due to a fault in the manurfaturing process, a metologist (think thats spelt right) confirmed this also! after sending the forks back to pace they have agreed to refund the money and admitted that it was not the 1st pair that had failed in this way. I would avoid this product, but not to push people away from all pace forks as they make some of the best lightweight carbon forks!!

I had one pair of these forks and they snapped just above the 4 pot mounts. Got another pair then after using them 3 months they snapped in basically the same place. Braking power is good but that is about all that is with these forks.

Last quite well im liking the length of them makes your bike sit up more. But a few days ago i found two cracks above the brake mounts i expect its no bodys fault but my own although most forks eventually crack in the same place.
