Sherco 1.25 (2005)

Overall rating:
Reviewed by 3 BikeTrials.com users - Write your review
From the Sherco website: Designed for young teens that are ready to move up to a full size motorcycle the 1.25 is the perfect match. The 1.25 has an extremely strong engine for its capacity. The engine is powerful enough for world-class competition, yet docile enough for the newest beginner. This is the perfect full size bike for anyone who wants a bike that includes many of the same high quality components as the Professional class 2.5 and 2.9 models. For 2005 the 1.25 receives a new swing arm which is shorter and designed to work effectively with this displacement machine. The rear suspension linkage has been redesigned; the reed system has also been redesigned. The bike also features the same graphics package as the rest of the model line.

This is my first trials bike after my honda xlr125. Firstly I noticed the huge weight difference, it felt as light as my push bike!
The 04 125 has plenty of low end power and just loves being played with on hills from smallest to the biggest your confidence will allow. The bike has many good design features such as the curved end on the exhaust, which i feel makes it look better than it's rivals. One of my favorite things is the exhaust note, its just heavenly.
The bike descends as well as it climbs. I took it down a steepish sand bank and it had no intention of slipping out from under me.

Very powerful and quality bike most probably the best 125cc bike in the trials world. I got 2x 2005 125's this year for my youth riding. They haven't let me down yet and I'm sure they aren't going to. Just climb and climb up hills, over rocks and logs, everything is there including the quality brakes!
