This is the funnest trials bike I have ridden. It is perfect for a beginner. I have only ridden trials for about 5 months and this bike gave me a super confidence boost.

Heavy!

Comes with "okay" parts... the frame is heavy but dead sexy. Front disc isn't that good for urban trials.. overall, more of a freestyle/dirt jump bike. Rear brake (LX) Could be more powerfull.. I suggest switching to an (XT) if you're a beginner. A verry heavy bike (that can be fixed with a few changed parts) Tires are way too heavy. Comes with 2 Alex DM24 wheels... why did they switch from Alex DX32? (last year's model came with one) I dont know... But it bends way too easily. A pretty good starter though..

I started trials riding this season and after upgrading the back brake the bike is running perfectly. I can already do gaps and drops and cool things like that, this bike can take all of my abuse and i dont have to worry about it so i can focus on my skills. Norco makes a solid bike and for anyone getting into trials take a look at the norco evolve.

Yeah the norco Evolve is really a good bike for the beginner. The only disadvantages that I found were the tire and the back brake, they are really not powerful.
I recommend the frame. I became really good on the rear wheel.

Thanks to the norco evolve!

Bike is bad compared to the Brisa's. It is too heavy and the front disc is weak and not good for urban assault and natural trials!

This bike is heavy but it can take the abuse. I took off the rigid front fork and put on a 100mm marzocchi. The bike is amazing for urban assault mixed trials. Its easy to bunny hop and a fun dirt jump bike. Its a little heavy to hop around on the back wheel compared to lighter bikes but it gets the job done.

cheap unbreakable learning curve doesnt level off til you can ride up picnic tables and put together lines

Weaknesses
HEAVY! but workable. disk brake - unless its a high end disk brake it shouldnt be on a trials bike. you gotta customize it to fit your style, but i guess its easy to do that. you cant run more than 2.6 in the rear. and in general you just need to upgrade it as you get better

Review
i used a kona lavadome for trials?... before this bike. my learning curve went way up. this bike is great if you want to try out trials then maybe move on to dirt jumping. the frame works for almost any style. i was getting the job done with the back brake but wasnt confident til i got hs33. thats the only upgrade that you MUST do once you master pedal kickin. i still love to ride this bike despite owning a 853 norco, and buying a monty
bottom line: great to ride and easy to upgrade as you learn
