Review
The echo stem is available in a few different lengths and angles, i have the 110x5deg or there abouts. Unfortunatly it is very hard to track down information about the new 2004 products. A strength however is that they are available in at least 2 different lengths for stock bikes and at different degrees of rise. It has an oversized clamp (31.8mm) so it is made to be used with echo, megamo and monty type bars, however they can be used with any bar and a shim. The biggest advantage of the echo stem is the price, it comes in at about half the price of the brisa stem over here in australia. No problems yet.

not heavy, doesnt seem to be weak. looks cool especially with my echo bar.

covers a range of geometries. i'm not happy with mine at the moment - i got the 90 because the importer had run out of the 110x5 ones. not rating it down because of that though...

i got a shard of metal stuck in my finger from the bad cutting job near the bolts where it fixes onto the fork. that hurt a lot so it gets an average from me. if that didnt happen it would be above average, but it was in the middle of a ride and it sucked :(
