These could quite possibly be the cheesiest pair of cranks to come on a bike. nevermind what they retailed for, but i am NOT happy with these whatsoever.

the paint chips off like nobodys business, the bashring is stupid weak, it almost feels like the material they're made with is low low quality aluminum from the scrap heap. they came stock on my evolve and i broke these in the first month of moderately hardcore riding. clipped them on a bike rack and they were done like dinner lol.

i'm speechless. these cranks are poo! spend a little more green and get yourself something that is guaranteed not to break, you'll be happier in the long run.

My new Middleburn cranks! : )

They chip like crazy.. made of a verry soft metal. I would recommend buying one only if you're a beginner.

some cannondale cranks i think (of all things) that've lasted way longer

Review
they tend to look nice at the beginning but..

1. the bashguards softer than a pillow, shouldnt be called a *bash*guard really
2. the threads are -from what i've experienced- extremely sensitive. tighten your pedals on them with everything you've got or they'll probably strip. loc-tite also comes in handy as the cranks loosen themselves just about every other sunday

i'm not too sure about what others think about these cranks but i've had nothing but trouble. my personal advice, stay far, far, away

From what my experience with this crankset I like them. For me they have held up well to all the abuse I've given them. The bash guard is a little soft but unless you want a "pretty" bike its not too much of an issue. I would recomend using a steel chain ring and strong BB.

i have used these cranks on my norco evolve for almost three seasons. they have stood up to many hours of grinding and banging as well as up to 10 foot drops so they are very stong. Good for pedal kicks bcause they are stiff and are always the last thing that i worry about when riding. they are heavy if you want to build a really great bike but for the price they are a solid unit.
