i was looking for a bike because my old devinci was'nt holding out very well. so i was looking in TONS of shops an all i found was big, bulky, heavy, and slopy bikes. but when i tried da P.2 short frame i loved it! the very next day i baught it. its got the frame strength of any other dirt-jumper/urban bike out there but its got very small geometry so it's realy easy to handle on the street aswell as over jumps. the only down-side is thet its pretty heavy. but the easy pop and small geo' creates an amazing amount of controll.

Review
I originally liked this bike a lot more than I do now but still this bike is well worth the money! The frame (apart from mech hanger) is ace although paint scratches easily. The wheels so far have stood up to a lot of abuse and the brakes are better than I expected for cable discs, although they took a while to setup.

I would only really fault the forks as there is hardly any adjustment and they just feel wrong!

BUT if you want a strong Hardtail that wont make you bankrupt then go for it.

Everything else seems fine nice frame size and geometry (5’10 running the large) and fairly lightweight considering!

bought one at christmas. i like the frame, its a nice bit of kit but the componemts are shocking! the forks are under-dampened and i managed to buckle both wheels after landing a medium sized drop. the fat handle bar looks ugly and the chain device doesn't work very well. the brakes are also not very good. they are either on or off. by all means buy the frame, but its not worth buying the whole lot.

everything is good cept the fork. it lasted me 3 or 4 runs till i busted it. i brought it to the shop and they said they had to send it to marzocchi cuz the fork got broken. some advice is buy the bike but buy a cheap aftermarket fork that suits u to use on it.

This bike is good for jumping and takes a kicking as long as you are careful on the forks, they could be easily replaced. The wheels and tyres this bike comes with are good. dont like the set up of the bike and the components are shocking.

Hey, I tried the P2 one day at a shop and thought it was really cool. I rode it for about a month and then swapped the stock Ditch Witch rims and tired for a custom 24" set. The difference was amazing. I know we're talking a whole different feel, but the Heavy / short combo makes more sense whith smaller wheels. Next the boxguide had to go, Its a nice touch to put a guide as stock, but the dough is better spent on a bashguard. I replaced it with a e.thirteen/blackspire/envy plate combo. Really nice frame and a solid colour. Lastly the shocks are fairly nice but, I don't trust the quality. I replaced them with '03 Dirt Jumper III's.

strong bike great geomerty for jibbing. the components are good enough to start you riding but you are soon going to start breaking stuff soon ex. bad cranks bad chain bad pedals and the forks are a turd. once everything is replaced the bike is a champ 6' to flat no problem the bolt on axels realy take out a lot of flex when landing goofey not to mention a prity good anti theft device over all killer bike highly recomended amazing how much money you will spend on replacing the parts though 1500 in extras and still counting one day i will be broke and finished

glad to anwser any ? on the bike

ya i crash n do like about 7 drops on this bike an it holds up really good. i take some narly crashes n i look at the bike after n its just dirty not as much as scraches but i like it... one problem is that you cant really put doublr crown forks on it bc the geometry would be werid and the highest you can porb be would be 6-7". i do need some upgrades an i want the marzocchi 66'an a race face crank set but im workin on it

I bought a P.2. about 1 1/2 years ago and I loved it. Other than the fork, pedals and chainguide being pos I like it. I snapped the front hub, so now I have a rhynolite/xt wheel and I put a 32 tooth gusset tribal ring on and a e-13 bashguard. I put a bmx stem and .243 racing bars on. I have a set of 26" holy rollers from maxxis®, a dirt jam (I snapped the arch on the exr, watch out) and a lizard skins chainstay protector.

If you are going to get a semi-pro bike than this one is certainly not what you want. I have had it close to 6 months now and I have lost count how many times I have had to take it in for repaires. It has cost me almost the same as the original buying price!!

for a frist time urban bike, it is great, ive learned alot of stuff on it, and it is alright to manipulate, really easy to track stand, but the more you jump it, the more work you need to do on the bottom bracket, stairs are easy on it, but the big hits are hard, i found the fork way to soft, and you definately need the 8 inch rotor on the front for stopping power other than that, you can do alot on it, it is not a climber though, doing trails you might find yourself walking up, but you can rocket down, really good handeling for down hill, i mean really really good.

I'm a little tall for this at 6'2" but I still love the geometry. I wish it has a little more travel up front and a better fork (that kept air in it). I can't complain, I bought it barely-used for half of retail. I just upgraded it to a rear casette and grip shift and a bash guard. This bike is an urban dream for me. I can deal with it being short coming from BMXing. I've hit 8-10 stair sets with ease landed square and road away. Seems like the bike has held up well. I'm heavy @ 205 and feel very comfortable on it. I'd prefer hydro discs but the Hayes cable discs stop about equal to well adjusted v-brakes.
