The snappy, very flickable geometry lends itself perfectly to urban trickery. The short chainstays make balancing on the rearwheel easy and the tight headtube angle/short wheelbase allow for quick maneuvering. Some riders prefer a longer wheelbase for better gapping, but I like my bike short.

The disc-mounts have caused some debate; beefy though they are, the warranty does not cover disc-brake inflicted damage to the frame. I run mine with HS-33's anyway, so I won't cómment on that.

I set up my ride with the Planet-X B.M.F. rim in the rear and rigged a Nokian NBX DH 2.5 onto it: the sideknobs only barely fit the chainstay bridge! I guess the wide rim widens the tyre profile too much?

And finally the appearance. The geometry is also nice to look at, it´s clearly a trials bike, but doesn´t look like a kooky compframe with everything stripped. However, if I cared just a tiny bit more, I would have ditched the PX for a frame with a more decent looks. The color options for the MK5 are incredibly cheap! Maybe the matte-black one would do (wasn´t available when I ordered mine), although it too is pretty boring. The silly tribals, the Black Devil, the dumb Jamaican (with a joint and all...) are all just stupid. Well, I just chose to ignore the looks and went for a killer frame for a competitive price.

Takes massive abuse without complaints. Best beginner bike w/o question. Not the best comp bike but for street and big riders you wont have any problems. Improved geometry over earlier models makes this a key buy. Price isn't bad and warranty is great. The brits are nice to deal with and stand strongly behind their product. The paint is great quality and if ya like flashy paint this is a sexy ride with a great price.

This frame is almost perfect if you like the geometry. It's strong, very high quality finish (welds, paint, etc.), heavy duty custom dropouts w/ super super thick disc tabs, steel rear mech hanger. The exact weight of mk5 is 1980g (4.37lbs) measured with precision scale so it's not too heavy anymore.

I'm really happy with this frame, and I'm very glad I bought it! It's a lot better than my old frame in geometry, weight, looks and so on and so forth... However, the very different geometry(compared to my old frame), combined with switching to flat bars made the "getting used to the new bike"-period a bit challenging. But as I, in time, overcame the initial challenges of adapting, my new bike proved to be much better than the old one. I don't ride much natural, so I have nought to say about how the bike handles in the wild, but, at home in the city this frame is very happy!

the mk5 is my current ride and i have no complaints. very stiff all over, super short stays, yet long enough to stay stable when riding to your fave trialsin spot. can double as the perfect urban hucking bike

short headtube angle and tiny wheelbase for quick maneuvering and anything rear wheel... definitely a different feel than most of the frames i've tried, and this is definitely the best so far. welds are all made cleanly and in all the right places, frame can fit a 2.6 tire if you realli wanted to. super short seat tube, so standover is amazing.

rear disk compatible, an awesome manufacturer's dfect replacement haha (cuz u never know with trials)

definitely my pick for one of the best
