This is the first real trials-specific frame i have bought, and yet the geometry is not a full-on uncompromising one as to only be suited for natural. The majority of my riding is done on urban, yet i do attempt competitions and i feel that this frame is extremely versitile - it is well built enough to survive whatever i can through at it on the street yet it is light enough (3.98 lbs for mine on a digital scale) and has suitable geometry to be used for natural, unpredictable trials riding. I run a suspension corrected rigid fork (which works very well with this frame) and the frame is very easy to get on the rear wheel and despite some claiming the chainstays a bit too long, i find it perfect for drops and gaps where i can stay on the rear comfortably. The longer stays also contribute to bigger gaps, which is true as you can use a bit less effort to get the rear wheel across. I feel the only real shortcoming of this frame is that it is not compatible with disk brakes, although i have been using and am happy with a HS33 Magura at the rear. Overall, this is one of the most verstile, uncompromising trials frames available and i would highly recommend it as both a nice handling street frame due to the dialed-in geometry and suitability with sus. fork and as s suitable competition frame due to its light weight and geometry which is still based on that for traditional trials.

Overall great buy for sure!

ive been riding 3 years on the evolve and got pretty dam good but then stopped for a year or two. i recently bought this bike ( norco team bike, bought it off a team member ) and it didn't have the greatest parts - no king hubs or hs33 etc. i slapped on my hs33's and it was good to go. it has amzinging balance on the back- you don't need to hold up the front wheel , its lightweight design does it for you, thus giving amazing handling and maneuverability. today i did a 6 foot drop onto cement and the i goofed the landing and hit pretty hard and i crumpled onto the frame with all that momentum but nothing broke.
when building this frame up i recomend sacrificing strengh for lightweight. you will ride this smooth once your used to it because you can throw it around easily. obvoisly hit up hs33 in back. front brake i like v brakes. they seem to get er done well for basic trials. im now getting up to fornt wheel hopping so i upgraded to loiuse 8 inch.
bottom line: this bike is midrange in price but its a highend product. i highly recomend this frame to anyone, begginer or extreme ultra experts. its just the perfect frame for urban riding

paint sucks, dents easily, short top tube

Review
I have had an mine for about 4 years. i have a slightly older one (orange paint). the paint just flat out sucks. i think this was the 2nd year they made this frame. mine came from the factory with nickle sized paint chip in the downtube. the paint has no clear coat so any chips are instant bare metal. and it chips very easily. every time i take my front wheel off, the magura evo mounts com dangle for a second and theres a chip from almost every time. lastly its way too short in the top tube(about 21 or 21.5") im 6'1" so not good for taller riders. chainstays a little long, but it manuals really well. the fork it came with is SUPER strong. hundreds of nose picks later, no cracks or anything.
