Used Product For
6 Months

Strengths
Great feel, decent modulation, quite powerful considering their weight.

Weaknesses
I have the Marta SL's and the carbon fibre lever blades scare me.

Similar Products Used
Hope M4, Shimano XT (V-brakes)

Review
These brakes have caused me no problems, although some people say they stop working. I own the SL version which I think the only difference is the carbon fibre blades, but the weight is amazing, and for their weight the power is good. I would consider buying EBC Red pads for these brakes but the stock pads work fine for about 3 or 4 months. The feeling is solid with these brakes, you pull the lever back and it stops, there is no squishy feel you get when there is air in your lines or the plastic lines are expanding, the lever just stops and the brakes stop you. I do like these brakes but I would give a good consideration to buying the regular Marta's (unless you are a serious weight weenie).

Review
This in an incredible brake. I'm using it on front and it is much better than Hope Mini w/ 185mm rotor or Louise. The power from 160mm disc in unbelievable, even people with 8" Hayes discs have been amazed. The brake has a grabby feeling which is nice for trials, in my opinion. Modulation is quite good but could be a little bit better. Now I just hope the brake will never start to leak, which is the main fear for hydraulic discs in trials.

i bought a zoo! pitbull of the internet and it was great all except the front brakes, they must have had some type of oil or something on the rorot and pads that i cant get off and they braking power is crap and they squeak. and also there is no adjustability in the pull without draining fluid.

Review
it's a great inprovement to the hs33's i used on my other bike but i found that after about 6 months the brake started to lose its strength.

But i have read on other forums that the brake is designed to be blead every 3 or four weeks! And as only an intermediate rider I don't think its a great break for riders unbder pro/elite level as i don't think riders under pro level have time.

But Im sure if i was pro i would have the time and would take it more seriously.

I've rated it above arverage but im sure if i had time to blead it, it would definately be exelent.
