Used Product For 3 Months Strengths great stoping power and adjustability Weaknesses they pump up really fast Similar Products Used hayes, hs-33, hope mini Review these are great brakes, i am using the old style with the single piston, they are very nice. stock they come with long housing, and they pump up really fast, but i figured out how to fix that. they work very well and if you can get ahold of them, magura is runing low on the old version, get them, they are very cheap.

Used Product For 1 Year Strengths Good Modulation Weaknesses Lever Weak, Master Cylinder Leak Similar Products Used Magura Louise, HS33 Review Lever is light but very weak, lever blade bends only after hours of riding. Expect the master cylinder to leak. Blade will crack and break after 250 hours of riding. Small master cylinder diameter is stronger but design is flawed due to enormous weight lightening. Slave cylinder is good but master cylinder is weak in 2 aspects - Lever Blade is very very weak. Master Cylinder is prone to leakage in previous model but problem is less obvious in the later model.

Weaknesses kinda off or on braking. can be learned to use mid range Similar Products Used hs-33, canti Review this is an awesome brake. its got great power. i use it on the front so anytime you can throw yourself over the bars. its awesome fun going down steep rocky/sandy hills. it has awesome control and hasnt failed at all.

Used Product For 1 Year Strengths the initial power that can be modulated Weaknesses the loss of the power Similar Products Used magura hs33 (rim brakes), formula b4 (disc brakes) Review I think that this brake is not good for trial use because after some months of use, its power is not as the initial power.

Used Product For 1 Year Strengths Modulation Weaknesses The levers bend, inconsistant performance, adjustability Similar Products Used HS-33s, Rim brakes, Avid Mech Discs Review I am really not very happy with these. Sometimes they work sometimes they don't. I didn't realize how bad they were until I got a pair of Avid mechanical discs on my non-trials bike and they worked better than these. With all the other options for disc brakes, I don't see much reason to get these.

Used Product For 1 Year Strengths Light weight & enough stop power. Weaknesses the lever brade is quite weak but I made some reniforcement. Similar Products Used Hope Mini Review I'm using the 2001 model which with single piston only. I also aware the weakness of the lever. But I placed 3 small pieces of plastic to fill the gap, as a result my lever still not bend after few times of min. crash. So, I think it is suitable for trial bike due to the weight of our bike is quite important.

Used Product For 1 Year Weaknesses not cheap enough Similar Products Used shimano deore, shimano xt, hope mini Review I have never had to service anything on my bikes as much as this brake. Every month it had to be bled several times. Even the warranty brake I got after shipping it to Chicago was bad. XT's are way better. In fact right now I ride Deore hydraulics and they have been flawless for a year. Cheap too.

Used Product For 6 Months Strengths power Weaknesses not accurate Similar Products Used Louise FR, HS 33, SHIMANO XT Review These brakes are good in front because the power helps out with front wheel moves, but in the rear it's not accurate and sometimes slips.
