I've only had my clear 660 for a short time but i can instantly tell that it is the best frame i've ridden, everything about it is just how a trials frame should be, like the 360 degree dropouts, bolt through axle, reinforced chainstay next to the bb shell, it is competitively light and it's steel. The geometery is amazing, short wheelbase, nice on the backwheel, good head angle nice turning and its very versitile. Get one....

i have had this frame about a month now and my reasons for getting it apart from needing a new frame cause my curtis was a right off. also i just couldnt find any frame that suited what i was looking for. Also when you ring clive (at leeson bikes) you will find the customer service from clive is the best you WILL get no doubt about that. from the moment i rang him i knew this frame was for me. i got mine 1 cm longer as clive will do pretty much anything you want him to. it is pretty amazing, when i got it built up i went out on the road and lifted up how i would have to lift the curtis up onto the back wheel and i nearly went over the back it was so much nicer, lighter and easier. the first night in town riding it i did my biggest back wheel, sidehop and bunny hop. so this frame is serious stuff. going from a curtis to one of these was mind blowing. my control on the back wheel is 100x better and it is so much more of a joy riding it over the curtis.
there is maybe one problem with it and that is that i found the left chain stay to dent a little easy...well easier than the curtis. this is from side hopping going wrong but it seems to be fine.
i have given this frame a beating and rinsed a load of lines that were not going to be done on the curtis (well maybe in the near future) but this frame has just improved me so much. the other good things are how stiff they are. as soon as i got on it i noticed i could say... back wheel a lot closer to the wall and apparently this is because (according to clive) the back end doesnt twist like most other frames out at the moment.

so this frame is an extreamly good buy if you are looking for something a bit custom, a bit english and a bit good ;)

i think this is the best frame ever created if you have a standard 660 clear. i got mine made 1.5 cmlonger on the front but clive made it 1.5 cm longer on the back makeing it very wierd to ride keep the frame short and sweet. still rides better than every thing else but i rode a standard one and it was so much better but my foot hit the tire. my pashley got week because the tubes flexed on it and it eventually snapped inhalf. the lesson is super stiff but the brass welding is soft to allow flex and eventually gets a hair line fracture but i have given it hell and clive at leeson just brazed over it and its bin fine since my m8 owns number LB-5 witch is around 7years old its one of the first proto types and its headtube came off then got brazed back on and its still going. i have number LB-342-L.
