well coming from a leaking hs 33 and promax v brake, this brake is NUTS!
i'm using the 205mm rotor and it is wayyyy strong! doesn't budge a bit when riding natural or anything else.
would highly recommend this over a magura.
i have a 160mm hmx-9 hayes and its nowhere near as powerful because of the rotor size, the hope kicks ass!!

This is an awesome brake! they dont leak! awesome light lever action! A million times better than maguras!
If you want a disk for trials, then this is the way to go. Make sure you dont get any smaller than a 185mm rotor! trust me you cant get enough power for the front, and no you dont lose modulation.
Im runnin a 203mm M4 rotor and i swear i could snap a pair of suspension forks in half with this combo! its sick! I havent had any serious problems with these, very very well made!

I have been a professional mechanic for 5 years now. It hurts me to hear people have said these brake leak. I run the original housing thru my steerer tube (for bar spins...). I have never had a leak, eventhough I will be changing the housing to Goodridge. They have never rubbed On the rotor with proper set-up. They stop on a dime when I front tire tap a 3' wall, and I'm not the lightest guy at 190lbs. Plus the sexiness of the machined lever and caliper are to die for. At a bit more expensive than hayes or formula, they are worth every penny more. "Like The Chris King of Disc brakes."

ok, i have used this brake for one day, and intend to keep using it! its the most powerful brake i have ever used, for example i compared it with a louise disc on an aluminium megamo rotor and the magura pales in comparisin for power(this is with 205mm hope) and it looks way better than magura discs....BUT, like i said, i have used it for one day, ridden it for around 7 hours and it leaked already . i have been using a magura back brake for a long time now and have stacked many times on it and it has never ever come close to leaking, but i use this hope mini and right away it leaks .

all up IF YOU ARE CAREFUL its a great brake .

just noticed this when you brake hard the caliper bolts flex which holds the to halfs together so you are losing braking power. but still a good brake. i don't think they make this caliper anymore
