King is the way to go for head sets. I have had mine for close to 2 years with zero problems. I have abused it regularly but my handle bars and fork turn with a silky smooth feeling. The only drw back is the price $100+ US. I got mine whole sale, so it was worth for me. The race I had previously began to become "sticky" after about 2years.

This is the only part of my bike I have NEVER had a problem with. Price is reasonable if you plan on riding for another 10 years. You will still have the same headset. I have broken 5 frames and replaced every part but this.

Can't nobody hold anything against a Chris King Nothreadset. You may ask yourself though, "Is it worth the money?" You know, you could buy a cheap headset every year and save a few bucks. Not really. Because King under-estimates the life of this headset dramatically. Great headset. Put it in your DH or trials bike and don't touch it. I've ridden primarily DH for some years and are just now getting into trials. This headset has seen death and laughed at it. You'll get 3, 5, maybe 10 funfilled years out of this one. Plus, most of the time when you find a set that lasts, you have to give up a feature, looks, ease of installation, smoothness, not with King. This guy is awesome, anyone who rides their bike should look at a headset like this.

This headset is a godsend, Before this I had 2 FSA PIG PRO headsets, Cracked the bottom cup on the first, and Collapsed the bottom bearing on the second. That was within the first 6 months. So I decided to go out and buy a GOOD headset, A king. From day 1 with my king, I have had absolutely NO problems whatsoever, This headset is a MUST for every bike, Dont even risk having your bottom cup collapse and the steer tube of your fork probaly being damaged, and maybe even your frame, Buy a king...
