this frame is hardcore and wel fun to ride, the chainstays are quite short and the front is long but not too long so u can still do bunny hops easily.the small(10inch)frame is well good i love them, im on my second bcoz i snapped the right hand chainstay near the bb and loadsa ppl have, but otherwise its solid

Looks amazing... inspires confidence because its so damn beefy, and the downtube is gorgeous!

Weaknesses
Manufacturing quality... Unfortunately the first one I owned came to me brand new with a Bent back end... they had misaligned it in the jig. They then replaced it with a 2002 model which performed fine until the driveside chainstay-dropout weld cracked

Review
This was my first 26" frame I owned. It looked so nice and rode quite well, not as well as some, but well enough for me back then... it's just a real shame they didn't make it well enough. The first frame was just disappointing really, the back end being squiff from stage 1. On it's second chance a weld cracked, which isn't really on. Maybe I rode it too harshly, who knows, but 6 months isn't enough for £400 UK.

Good luck with one if you can get hold of it, Orange have discontinued it because they weren't making enough percentile profit compared to the orange 222 downhill frame that sells for £2500 UK frame only!

I give it average, because if you strike lucky with a well made frame then it'll last you ages and be a good ride.

Review
This frame was great, its got an extremely stiff rear triangle with the 'Quattro-box' square seat and chainstays, its humungously beefy, but it seems all the beef has gone to the down tube when it could be used in more resourceful places like around the BB and round the disc mounts. I have only been able to fit a 2.1 tire because when the wheel became slightly out of true the tire started to rub. but all in all this is a great frame, I used it more for freeride than trials but it worked extremely well for freeride.

Review
I've abused this frame for some time now. Bought it second-hand in winter 03, cause I felt so comfortable riding it.

My riding style is both trial and street influenced. I like the frame better than ECHO or other frames because it has longer chainstays. That makes it handle manuals more easily.

I've also tested it with a Shiver DC (my full sus. frame broke and I had to build a emergency DH/play rig) It worked flawlessly and swallowed big drops aprox. 3,5 meters without any weakness.

The weight can be an issue if you are light. But I fancy the extra weight, it begs to be abused.

This frame is far too over priced and is not that strong. orange should just stick to making jump and downhill frames.

I have used this frame for just over a year now and it has perfomed flawlessly for that period! It suits my type of riding; street/trials and always catches peoples eye when im out and about. The only niggle I have is that you have to dish the back wheel to get it to sit in the frame without the tyre catching on the chainstays. All in all an excellent machine, just a shame that orange discontinued it!

the Orange frame is quite long, great stability and balance. one problem for me was the right chainstay that snapped, many others who have rode this frame have had this problem. it has lasted me for 2 and a half years and now sits in my room with the rest of my snapped frames, lol.
may try and fix it coz orange say they dont make or repair them anymore.

This frame is simply the best! i love the look of the frame and decided to get one after reading several reviews and was not disappointed at all. In my opinion it really should be built with the orange forks and mini seat that is a combination for one of the best frames ever made! its so easy to get up things on and certainly helped improve my skill on a trials bike
