I, too have had the square taper round. And of course, FSA wont refund them because it is "obvious that they have been used for trials or that type of riding". As well as my cranks back, they should have sent me a pocket sized 8mm. That way i couldn't TOTALLY blame them for their crappy cranks. Well, i bought another pair. i really can't pay more than 50 bucks for a pair of cranks right now, so these'll have to do. If you have the money, don't do it.

I really was surprised at how long it took for these to round off. They just don't inspire any confidence at all. I used them for about 6 months and went through 3 pairs. The metal seems to have the strength of plastic. Do yourself a favour. Save up and get some serious cranks, these don't do you any favours.
