Review
This is my first Trials bike. Although it's old and doesn't work well it was enough to get me addicted to the sport. And really, something has to be said about a bike that has lasted as long as this one has and still functions. (I don't think it's a 1998, I think it's significantly older than that due to the fact that it has it's stock suzue hubs and the head tube was 1 1/4 and the steer tube was 1 1/8) So, even though I wouldn't recommend it to anyone to buy, how can I give one of the first trials bikes ever made a poor rating, and one that has survived with almost all stock componentry.

Review
A "friend" who owned the bike shop I dealt with in Toronto in the mid 1980's steered me away from a Monty (?!) into an Ibis Trials Comp 24/20 in PINK! It was chrome yellow a day later. Slow geometry, brittle bash gaurd, no such thing as a decent 24" tire. Worst, and why I got rid of it, was the useless spacers between handle bar and head stock. Irreplaceable, once they lost their purchase and would start to slip the bike became all but unrideable and worthless. I last rode mine into a Salvation Army in North Scarborough.
